2024 Player Outlook
Tyler Allgeier had his breakout rookie season in 2022 with over 1,000 yards rushing but the addition of Bijan Robinson in 2023 saw him come back to earth with only 683 yards rushing in 17 games. His 186 carries was actually only 24 fewer than he saw the previous year thanks to head coach Arthur Smith but his efficiency plummeted from 4.9 yards per attempt to 3.7 with Robinson taking more of the touches in space vs. short yardage. A change in coaching staff in 2024 could see an even further reduction of Allgeier's role so he's more of a handcuff to Robinson at this stage than he is a standalone option.
