2024 Player Outlook
Last season Romeo Doubs led the Packers in both snaps and targets during the regular season then was the most productive pass-catcher by far in the playoffs. When everyone was healthy, it was Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs on the outside with Jayden Reed in the slot. The real threat to Doubs is the up-and-coming Dontayvion Wicks who flashed at time when filling in for the injured Christian Watson. If Doubs maintains his role in 2024 the upside is certainly there at his current ADP but the Packers have a crowded room of talented pass-catchers so things could be spread a little thin.
Player News
Packers WR Romeo Doubs (concussion evaluation) left Green Bay’s Wild Card round game against the Eagles and is questionable to return.
It looked rather scary when Doubs came down on the back of his helmet in the end zone, with several Packers players taking a knee around him before trainers rolled him on to his back and helped him into the locker room. We’d be extremely surprised if he returns. Doubs had two catches for 13 yards on his only two targets before leaving. (The incomplete pass on this play was wiped away via holding penalty.) Doubs missed two weeks after a concussion earlier this season.
Romeo Doubs (illness) was removed from the injury report and will play in Wild Card Weekend against the Eagles.
The illness kept Doubs sidelined in Week 18 but the Packers get their X-wide receiver back in time for the playoffs. Doubs should could handle a sizable workload with Christian Watson (ACL) now out for the year. Doubs practiced in full all week.
Romeo Doubs (illness) practiced on Wednesday.
We don’t have the full injury report yet, but even a limited session puts Doubs on track to play this weekend. He was a surprise addition to the injury report on Saturday because of an illness. The Packers then held him out on Sunday. Head coach Matt LaFleur told reporters after the game Doubs was “in no shape” to play because of the illness. Fantasy managers playing in postseason contests can safely pencil him in for his usual role and then some this week. With Christian Watson done for the year, Doubs should see even more work versus Philly.
Romeo Doubs (illness) is inactive for Week 18 against the Bears.
