2024 Player Outlook
It might be surprising to hear that Chris Godwin, not Mike Evans, actually led the Buccaneers in receptions in 2023. He did have a bid of a down year but his standards tough and injury played a large part in that. Tampa Bay's wide receiver coach Bryan McClendon told reporters that Godwin will "move back to the slot" this year (he's played around ~900 snaps the last two seasons but in 2022 he played 576 slot snaps, last year he played only 295). That could bode well for a bounce back season in 2024.
