Anquan Boldin
Player News
Following Detroit's Wild Card loss to Seattle Saturday night, Anquan Boldin suggested that he would like to play again in 2017.
Boldin became quite a surprise to many with how effective he was for the Lions after they signed him this past summer. The 36-year-old receiver hauled in 67 passes for 584 yards and eight touchdowns while playing all 16 games during the regular season. He certainly seems to have some gas left in the tank.
Anquan Boldin practiced Thursday with a splint on his left ring finger.
Boldin is one of the toughest, so he figures to be on the field in Week 17, especially with the division on the line. He figures to get looks in the red zone from Matthew Stafford. On the year, the veteran has 63 grabs for 527 yards and seven scores. He is worth a look in DFS tournaments this week if he plays.
Anquan Boldin (finger) has returned for the Lions.
Boldin is back in action and looked just fine on a catch during Detroit's first drive of the second half. He should be good to go moving forward.
Anquan Boldin has a finger injury is questionable to return.
Boldin has just two catches for 14 yards in tonight's game, but his evening could be done if he is unable to return to action. He isn't the receiver he used to be in his prime, but he's still a viable red zone threat for this Detroit offense. He's questionable to return to action.
