Dashon Goldson

The team needs some help in the secondary and they decided to bring back Goldson. He played in four games earlier in the season with the team, but was mostly a special teams asset. For those of you in the championship of your IDP league, do not consider adding Goldson.

Goldson has been a member of the Falcons in name only all season long, as he barely got any playing time. This will have zero affect on the team going forward.

Goldson is a new addition to the Falcons secondary but the hamstring is causing him to get less work in learning the new scheme. He should start the regular season as a backup but will work his way towards the starting roster as the games keep getting tacked on.

This was an expected signing after Goldson met with the team last week. Rookie Keanu Neal went down with a knee injury that has a timetable of 3-4 weeks and the team does not want to risk a shaky start to the season. Goldson is a hard-hitting safety who is a viable fill-in for the time being.
