Update: Duke Ihenacho will not return with a concussion.
Ihenacho took a pretty nasty hit and was on the ground for a while. He managed to get up and walk off the field with trainers, but he will not be able to partake in football-related activities until he clears the concussion protocol.
As expected with the game in OT. With the Redskins on bye next week, he should not be in danger to miss much time if any.
Duke Ihenacho is down on the field after hitting his head and neck on a tackle.
Ihenacho just got to his feet with support from the training staff. His day is likely done as the game is in OT and the injury looked pretty bad at first, but it is a good sign that he's walking off under his own power.
Duke Ihenacho is questionable to return with an ankle injury.
Ihenacho is the Redskins starting strong safety and it would be a minor blow to their secondary. There's a good chance he returns to this game so we'll keep you posted.
Redskins re-signed Safety Duke Ihenacho.
The Redskins have brought back the run-stopping safety for $1.67 million which isn't bad for a starting safety in the NFL today. He won the job in camp last year and looks to be assured of regaining it this year to start the season.
