Kings signed Terence Davis to a deal, per ESPN’s Charania.
The terms of the deal have not been disclosed. Davis, who spent time in Sacramento from 2020-23, will return to the NBA level after having success with the Wisconsin Herd in the G League this season. He’ll provide a veteran depth presence off the bench.
According to Eric Nehm of The Athletic, the Bucks have signed Terence Davis to an Exhibit 10 contract.
Davis worked out with the Bucks in August, but the team did not make a move to sign him. He’s now in camp with the Bucks, attempting to land the team’s final guaranteed contract. Milwaukee has 14 players under standard contracts, and second-year wing Andre Jackson Jr.'s deal is not guaranteed. He may be Davis’ competition for a roster spot.
According to HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto, the Bucks recently hosted free agent guard Terence Davis for a workout.
Davis played four seasons in the NBA before failing to agree to a deal before the 2023-24 campaign. As a result, he played in three games for the Rip City Remix (Portland’s affiliate) before suffering a season-ending Achilles tendon tear. Davis’s ability to work out for Milwaukee is a positive sign regarding his health, but it guarantees nothing regarding where he’ll play next season. This will not impact fantasy basketball.
Terence Davis had a solid game on Tuesday with 12 points (4-for-9 FGs, all 3PTs) and four rebounds against Boston.
With Kevin Huerter still sidelined, Davis was able to provide some much-needed shooting off the bench. In their first game without Huerter, Davis played 29 minutes off the bench and scored 21 points with five 3-pointers. In their last game, Davis only played five minutes. In this game, he was back in the rotation. His role has been inconsistent, which makes him frustrating to stream. If Huerter remains sidelined, he's a high-risk, high-reward streaming option.
