Scott Sizemore was assigned to minor league camp.
Sizemore has no fantasy value going into the 2016 season.
Nationals have signed Scott Sizemore to a minor-league contract.
The 30-year old Sizemore has only had 22 Major League at-bats since 2011. He signed a minor-league deal with the Nats on Friday hoping he can find his way back to the big show. In 2015 with the Nationals minor league affiliate he hot .426 in 47 at-bats, which was good enough for the team to bring him back for 2016.
Update: Scott Sizemore signed a minor league contract with the Marlins.
The days of talking about Sizemore while using words like \"potential\" and \"sleeper\" and \"upside\" are long gone. He\'s back-up material at best and the Marlins will utilize him in just that fashion. The only way he\'ll have any legit fantasy value is if there\'s a rash of injuries.
Marlins are likely to sign free-agent Scott Sizemore.
Sizemore has seen injuries derail his career and will likely be no more than a depth infielder for the Marlins with an invite to spring training.
