Steve Adams of MLBTradeRumors.com reports that free agent left-hander Jarlín García (biceps) has drawn interest from around six MLB teams.

The 31-year-old southpaw missed the entirety of the 2023 campaign due to a left biceps injury — and he isn’t expected to be ready to return until the start of May. Over his last three seasons though, García was one of the most reliable bullpen options in the National League — posting a 2.84 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and a 138/43 K/BB ratio across 152 frames for the Giants.

No surprise here after García missed the entire 2023 campaign due to a left biceps injury that he suffered in the early stages of spring training. The 30-year-old southpaw was a reliable innings-eater for the Giants, compiling a strong 2.84 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 138/43 K/BB ratio across 152 innings (135 appearances) since 2020, prior to landing in Pittsburgh last offseason.

Giants non-tendered LHP Jarlín García.

García stumbled some last year, finishing with a 3.74 ERA in 65 innings. That still gives him a 2.84 ERA in 152 innings over the last three seasons. He's never gotten much respect because of his modest strikeout numbers and lack of any real dominant pitch, but he's a solid reliever perfectly worthy of the $2.5 million or so that he was due in arbitration.

This one is a bit of a surprise as García has compiled a strong 2.84 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 138/43 K/BB ratio across 152 innings (135 appearances) over the last three seasons with the Giants. The 29-year-old southpaw reliever has been removed from San Francisco's 40-man roster and will likely be non-tendered later this week.
