Hector Olivera was found guilty on Thursday for a misdemeanor charge of domestic assault.
Olivera is currently without a team as he is facing a suspension as a result of the MLB domestic violence policy. He will also serve ten days in jail as a result of the guilty ruling. It will be nearly impossible for him to impact fantasy again, that is if he is given another opportunity in the league.
Hector Olivera has been traded to the Padres and designated for assignment.
After being traded by the Braves earlier tonight for Matt Kemp, Olivera has been designated for assignment. Olivera is currently serving an 82-game suspension for his assault and battery charges following an altercation outside a hotel in Washington D.C. on April 13. He'll be eligible to return from his suspension on Tuesday.

He's rumored to be heading to San Diego in a trade that would bring Matt Kemp to the Braves. Olivera was suspended for 82 games earlier this season for assault and battery and had disappointed on the field as well. It would largely be a financially-driven trade, as both players are owed a lot of money over the next several seasons.
Hector Olivera went 4-for-5 with a home run in the Gulf Coast rookie league on Saturday.
