Yesterday was a day without a profit, but those have been rare this season. Clint Capela was a monster on the glass, earning over 9.5 rebounds in the third quarter. The Pistons were blown out by the Philadelphia 76ers, and we will be hesitant betting on losing teams going forward.

Dereck Lively had six points, and six rebounds heading into the second half, but couldn’t finish the deal. There was a profitable cash out option at halftime, and the ‘No Sweat’ option did return a $20 bonus bet.

Personally, I like to put any bonus bet on a +odds future bet. You could place it on NBA Cup champion, conference champion, NBA Finals winner, or check out Fantasy Alarm’s NFL Best Bets article and put it down on NFL action today.

NBA Picks, Predictions & Best Bets Today, 12/1

There are 10 NBA games today, and several angels to attack the sportsbooks with. Today’s picks are about winning, and getting the unit count up. With that in mind, here are today’s best bets.

Nuggets vs Clippers Prediction: Russell Westbrook 2+ Threes Made (+215 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

Russell Westbrook has been given a new life in Denver. He is playing well, and being utilized in a way that better suits his style. He was vocal about not being utilized correctly during his tenure in Los Angeles, with both the Clippers and Lakers.

Westbrook has been the victim of ridicule and an easy target for internet trolls throughout his career. More specifically his inability to be successful behind the arc, oftentimes with air balls or bricks.

However that is an old narrative, and Denver Nuggets Head Coach Michael Malone has uplifted Westbrook. He installs confidence and within his first few weeks Westbrook was attempting several three point field goals. He is also surrounded by offensive playmakers, which oftentimes leaves him open for three point attempts

It has shown in the season, Westbrook has a three point attempt in every game this season. He has played every game this season for the Nuggets, reliable as ever. He has two or more three point attempts in all but one game this season, and he played his fewest minutes that game, 17:58.

He has attempted 21 threes in his last four games, and made four in two of them. Westbrook, much like Nikola Vucevic, has invested in improving his three point game in order to prolong his career. At over 2:1 odds, the risk is worth it. Put a unit on the savvy veteran to drain two from deep against his former team.

Lakers vs Jazz Prediction: Anthony Davis Over 11.5 Rebounds  (-120 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

Anthony Davis has been a monster on the glass despite the Los Angeles Lakers recent struggles. He is third in the early season MVP poll, and his rebounding line is a bit confusing. He has 12 or more rebounds in his last four games, including 14 against the Utah Jazz on November 19th.

Davis is averaging 11.6 rebounds and 35.3 minutes per game. He is the most important player for the Lakers and they will need him at the Delta Center in Utah. The Jazz are not a great team, but have moments of being good.

However, they do not have a front court player capable of consistently beating Davis in the paint. He should have a great defensive rebounding night, and a few offensive boards as well. Put a unit on him to earn 12 or more rebounds tonight.

Best NBA Prop Bets & Other Picks Today, 11/30

Although there are ten games today, the most exciting is the Boston Celtics versus. the Cleveland Cavaliers. Everything indicates these two teams are on a course for an Eastern Conference Finals showdown. It is projected to be a close game today, and we are using it to our advantage.

Celtics vs Cavaliers Prediction: BOS -1.5 (-105 on BetMGM)

The Boston Celtics are 0.5 games behind the Cleveland Cavaliers for first place in the Eastern Conference. They have played each other this season, and that game ended with a 120-117 Celtics victory at TD Garden. Today’s game is at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse and the Cavaliers will have the crowd on their side.

Will it be enough to beat the Celtics though? Today’s bet says otherwise, and with almost even odds for a 2 point victory from Boston, it seems foolish not taking the spread. The Celtics have the longest win streak in the NBA with seven, they also have a better point differential than the Cavaliers. Boston has 10.6, Cleveland has 9.7, and it should be a high scoring, offensive game tonight.

The battle for home court advantage will be important for both of the teams should they continue to be the two best teams of the conference. Boston won without Kristaps Porzingis, and they have him in addition to a great forward tandem in Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum

Put a unit on the Celtics to cover a low spread, near even odds.
