NBA is officially back with 13 games on the slate for Friday night. A lot of players are not going to be suiting up tonight because of all the trades that were made during Thursday's trade deadline, which will open up value plays across the board.
The point guard position is filled with value as Ricky Rubio and George Hill are under priced considering that their floor is 30 fantasy points and both of them can blow up for big games. There are plenty of dirt cheap options due to trades/injuries, so here is how I rank these four bargain bin players (in order): Jerryd Bayless, Tim Frazier, Ray McCallum, Spencer Dinwiddie. Eric Bledsoe should have a huge game as he'll be the primary point guard since Brandon Knight is not playing. Have no problem with James Harden, but his price makes him a better GPP option. Really starting to favor Gerald Green since he'll have to play heavy minutes with the lack of players on Phoenix. A contrarian play at the position is Evan Turner, who put up almost 40 fantasy points in only 22 minutes of action last time he played the Kings.
The small forward position is filled with mid-tier and low-tier value plays. Rudy Gay is not listed below, but he is a great option as well since his price tag is low and he'll get plenty shots as well. The power forward position is the toughest position to fill as Anthony Davis is the clear favorite at the position, but his price tag is extremely high. David West has an amazing matchup and produced almost 50 fantasy points last time he played the Sixers. The center position is filled with quality options at every tier as Demarcus Cousins is going to dominate the Celtics, the Knicks have no one that can stop Hassan Whiteside, and Rudy Gobert is super cheap on Aces/DraftKings despite being the starting center after Enes Kanter got traded. Time to grind!
