We’re at the midway point of the fantasy football regular season. Where you go from here will primarily be determined by how well you manage your team from here on out. Stop hoping for another breakout player jumping up on the waiver wire who’ll rescue your season or a trade that you must make to survive. If you haven’t made those moves or found those players yet than you’re in trouble my friends. But fear not I say!! For I have the answers to all your week 8 problems right here in the weekly fantasy rankings:
This is the mountain we have all been climbing towards. Six teams are off this week including some of the most fantasy noteworthy teams like the Broncos, Chargers, Eagles and Falcons. Oh, the Chiefs and Dolphins are also not playing but each of those teams have maybe 1 usable player each. So, this week we are going to have to rely on role players to get us over the hump and hopefully squeak out a win. I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve and you’ll find out exactly who they are in this weeks rankings:
I am in the finals of an unprecedented 32 team fantasy football league, and if you are wondering the pictures of all of the guys on the Week 17 rankings are all guys that I have on what I hope to be a championship winning roster. Dez Bryant has been my man all season long as well as Early Doucet at wide receiver, which I know doesn't sound great, but when it is 32 teams, it isn't that bad. But what about the rest of the NFL? Can Calvin do it one more time? Wat about Marques Colston, Vincent Jackson, and AJ Green? How about New England and Houston that have their positions locked up? Don't go into the last week of the season without reading the Week 17 wide receiver rankings.
It is potentially the last game of the season for your fantasy teams, as most leagues are crowning a champion in Week 16, and it is the perfect time for the Pittsburgh Steelers to be playing the awful, awful Rams secondary. You will find both of their top receivers in the top 20, including Mr. Wallace here at the top. Larry Fitzgerald may have cost you last week with his awful production, but if he didn't lose it for you, expect a big turnaround in this game against the Bengals. Will the Giants' passing game bounce back? Can Calvin follow up with another gem? What about New England? Does anyone else have the Moves Like Welker? If you have been following us all season long here at Fantasy Alarm, we thank you and wish you the best and hope you enjoy the wide receiver rankings.
It is the fantasy football playoffs and the wide receiver is the most wide open position in the game. Which studs can you count on down the stretch as even Calvin Johnson has disappeared over the past couple of weeks? How much damage can the Dallas Cowboys trifecta do on Saturday against the Buccaneers? What about the guys in New England? I really like Roddy White and Brandon Marshall this week as well. It is make or break time in the fantasy playoffs and you have to stay up to date with the Week 15 wide receiver rankings.
I guess the Chargers seem to be back and doing their usual December rush to the playoffs after dismantling the Jags on Monday Night, although I think my local high school team would be able to cover the spread against the Jags right now. We are entering what should be the first week of the fantasy playoffs with your team, so if you are reading this, congratulations on getting this far, you must have a pretty decent roster, and hopefully all of your wide receivers are on this list. Will Andre Johnson be an elite receiver down the stretch or was I right to call him over rated on our Sirius/XM radio show (5-8pm EST Saturday and 7-10pm EST Sunday on Sirius 210/XM 87 by the way)? Is Mike Wallace ready to have a strong finish? Will Larry Fitzgerald be crippled by poor quarterback play? How long can Victor Cruz keep this up? When setting this all important roster, be sure to see who we have where in the wide receiver rankings.
After two subpar weeks, Wes Welker bounced back big time last week with over 100 yards receiving and two touchdowns. We will find two Patriots receivers in the top 20 of the rankings this week. You will also find two Giants wide receivers in the top 20 as Victor Cruz is becoming a favorite target of Eli Manning. Stevie Johnson dropped three potential touchdown passes and not only shot himself in the foot in celebration, but also shot the Bills in the foot with an excessive celebration penalty. Andre Johnson is suffering without Matt Schaub in the lineup and will now have T.J. Yates as his quarterback. Can we expect much out of Johnson with Yates throwing him the ball? Will Dez Bryant be a factor for the Cowboys for all four quarters and not just two of them? How do Riley Cooper and Jason Avant stand after their big weeks? What can we expect from Miles Austin as he returns from injury? Get all over your answers to your fantasy lineup questions with this week’s wide receiver rankings.
Who will be the top wide receiver in Week 9 in the NFL? This week we welcome Larry Fitzgerald to the top of the list, regardless of the performance of the quarterback in the desert this season. You will find one surprising name in the top 20 this week I think, and it is a player that we expected to be there every week before the season started, but has disappointed time after time after time. Other than that we have a lot of similar names among the top ranked guys. Can the Bengals' passing game continue to impress? What about the Bills? Do we see a resurgence in San Diego after a miserable loss on Monday night? What about Michael Crabtree? Is he ready to live up to the hype? How about Brandon Lloyd in his new home? Before setting your lineups be sure to take a look at the Week 9 wide receiver rankings.
Welcome back to fantasy relevance Marques Colston! Of course everyone on the Saints, including some of the fans, scored fantasy points last Sunday night, but Colston certainly has looked like the impressive rookie who once had tight end eligibility and ruled fantasy football. Thankfully for his fantasy owners, Wes Welker will be back on the field and I'm sure racking up the receptions against the Steelers. Where do guys who grabbed my attention last week rank for Week 8? That's right, I'm talking about Brandon Lloyd and Demaryius Thomas. Which Jackson, DeSean or Vincent, will have the better game? Will Andre Johnson be back? Your Week 8 matchup could make or break your season, so be sure to prepare by reading the wide receiver rankings.
Wow, this is a week where a lot of the star receivers are going to be out of lineups as the likes of Hakeem Nicks, DeSean Jackson, Wes Welker, and Stevie Johnson will all be on your fantasy benches this week. Who is going to step up and put up the points that you need to win your matchups? Mike Sims-Walker and Brandon Lloyd switched teams this week, which one might step up their game? There are a number of guys I like to step up this week like Greg Little in Cleveland, Torrey Smith in Baltimore, and Doug Baldwin in Seattle. There are also a number of newcomers to the wide receiver rankings this week as many of us will be making roster moves in order to fill out your lineups. Take a look at what you need to win in Week 7 by checking out these wide receiver rankings.
