As you pour through your brackets for March Madness, don't forget to attend to your NBA fantasy team! Before we get to this week's pickups, here is a look at who I like in my bracket. I am going with top seed Louisville in the Midwest, second seeded Ohio State in the ridiculously weak West region, fourth seeded Michigan in the brutal South region and second seeded Miami in the East. Staying with the Hurricanes, how is it that the regular season and tournament champion from the ACC isn't a number one seed? Just to prove a point, I am going with the 'Canes to beat the UL Cardinals in the title game in Atlanta.
As we play out the final month of the 2011-'12 NBA season, we take a look at each franchise. Who emerged, what went wrong, what lies ahead. A look at post season chances, long term potential and upgrades possible in this summer's NBA draft. We continue in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference with the Toronto Raptors.
Are you a big man short from landing in the money in your fantasy league? If you have a shot at the money, it's decision making time. Some don't want to spend any more money on free agents/waivers and ride out what they have. The other option is to spend money to try and gain every point you can down the stretch. While it's hard to find well rounded talent, you can certainly find big men that bring rebounds, blocks, scoring, just not all in one player. We have identified the best power forwards that are available in 50% or more of Flea Flicker leagues.
As we roll into week three of the young 2012 NBA season, time for a roll call across the Association. With an abbreviated training camp and flash free agency, properly projecting who, what and where was certainly a challenge for so called NBA experts. Who did you overpay for? Did you waste a high draft pick on a player mired on the bench? With most teams approaching or at ten games played, we certainly have a better feel for rotations and production. Lets take a look, beginning with the Eastern Conference, specifically the Atlantic Division. Players are shown with percentage owned in Flea Flicker leagues.
