It was a very abbreviated schedule in fantasy baseball on Thursday which means a very short version of Rounding The Bases.  There is still plenty of fantasy news though that you need to know as a former fantasy star in the outfield continues to shine, while a starting pitcher who looked to be elite took one on the chin.  A borderline outfielder looked good again, while a second year first baseman looks like he is figuring it out.  We have one of the best third sacker moves closer to returning, while an elder statesman certainly responded to a manager's challenge. Even when there are only a handful of games there is still plenty to read in Rounding The Bases.

It is the end of Week 5 of the fantasy baseball season, and the injuries continue to roll in.  One in Houston seems much worse than another in New York.  We have a couple of really good pitching performances, and a former closer who continues to implode. We have news of a prospects rise the majors derailed, and an ace pitcher who continues to struggle.  As we get farther into the season it becomes more apparent that you have to have the Fantasy Alarm service, so do yourself a favor and visit the home page today!

Tuesday nights are typically reserved for sheer boredom and dreading the following work day. This is not the case my friends while baseball is in season. Reminiscent of hanging out in a hotel room with Charlie Sheen the baseball world was filled with drama and intrigue. This typically  bland Tuesday revealed three post hype first baseman who are begging for the fantasy world's attention. We also have an ex Red Sox who is making an improbable run to perfection, not to mention a current Sox player who is baffling his owners after imploding once again. As you wade through the plethora of fantasy news you also come across closers grabbing the job by the horns and ones who might have blown a once in a lifetime opportunity. With all that has happened today in the world of baseball, Tuesday's have become a fantasy owners guilty pleasure.
