A fair amount of options this weekend. In between grilling and entertaining as the unofficial summer season begins (I can now wear white pants with my blue blazer in court...YEA!), you should consider picking up some of these guys, if only for a start. With some, maybe hold them for the long haul.
Why read boxscores when you can find out everything that happened in Howard Bender's nightly Fantasy Baseball Roundup
J.A. Happ HOU vs CIN Mike Leake
Kyle Kendrick PHI vs MIA Mark Buehrle
Mike Leake CIN @ HOU J.A. Happ
Clayton Richard SD vs ARI Wade Miley
Jerome Williams LAA vs TEX Colby Lewis
Personallt\y, I'd pick up any of these SPs for Friday. Happ has been on a roll, and I like his K potential. Kendrick is slated to stay in the rotation, and he's done nothing to warrant any concerns to this point. Leake may have turned the corner finally this season, but I am just gonna ride him while he's going well, there is no way I roster him. Richard at home is a safe option, but don't start him on the road, so do not pick him up and keep him on your roster. Williams is simply solid, and not facing Texas in Texas is a good thing.

Aaron Harang LAD @ COL Juan Nicasio
Hector Noesi SEA @ CHW Gavin Floyd
P.J. Walters MIN @ CLE Ubaldo Jiminez
I put up a picture of Harang on this article at the top of the page. I gotta admit he scares me when I look at his full face pic. So maybe he can scare the Rockies and pick up a win. Noesi is a fine talent, stuck on a bad team. Not so sure going up against the White Sox is a great match up, but I do expect a QS from him. Walters is still the Twins' ace, as if that speaks wonders. Still, Ubaldo is injured or out of sorts at least, and this is a good option.

Nate Eovaldi LAD @ COL Alex White
Michael Fiers MIL vs PIT James McDonald
Drew Hutchison TOR vs BOS Daniel Bard
Tommy Milone OAK @ KC Nate Adcock
OK, these are questionable options. Facing White away from Coors Field is good, and I have been investing in Eovaldi in dynasty leagues for the past couple of years, so give him a chance. Fiers looked good in his first start, and the Pirates are not an offensive force. Hutchison is a decent option, Boston has it's issues, and Bard really belongs in the pen, not starting, but what do I know?. Milone had done everything we've wanted as a SP, and you should grab him now, as he is now 50% owned. At home, he should be money.
Good luck and godspeed in your fantasy endeavors. If you want to talk about fantasy issues, please contact me at ia@fantasyalarm.com.
