The Tennessee Titans have to really find a quarterback for next year. Both Vince Young and Kerry Collins are going to be gone so the Titans will need to bring in a quarterback to develop and a veteran that can start right away. Chris Johnson had some struggles last season with the lack of a passing game and poor defense. The running back position is well stocked with a decent back-up in Javon Ringer while the receiving core is solid if Kenny Britt can stay on the field. The Titans could play it safe and add to their receivers just in case but that does not seem likely. Tennesse will also spend quite a few picks on defense as they struggled quite a bit so not much offensive talent will likely be added. I will take a look at their draft on the offensive side of the ball in this edition of the NFL Draft fantasy recap.

Round 1 (8th Overall) - Jake Locker - QB
Locker is one of the most inaccurate quarterbacks ever taken in the first round. He will not have the character issues that a Ryan Leaf had but will likely be a bust much like Akili Smith was. Locker does have a strong arm but struggles with pocket presence, reading defenses and accuracy. The Titans better bring in a veteran to start right away or it could kill the value of Chris Johnson. The worst apart about this pick is they also traded away extra picks in order to get him.
Round 4 (130th Overall) - Jaime Harper - RB
Harper is a nice playemaker out of Clemson who likely step in as the third string running back behind Johnson and Ringer. Harper has good speed, NFL build and the ability to make defenders miss. He does not use his power enough and at times lacks vision. Harper has some upside but despite having the tools insticts are the hardest to teach so he will be a work in progress.
Round 6 (175th Overall) - Bryon Stingily - OL
Stingly needs plenty of seasoning before seeing the field. The Titans are set at the tackle position for a while so he will serve as a developmental project as he learns better technique. He has the physical tools but will need plenty of coaching which the Titans have done a nice job of over the last few years.
The Tennesse Titans blew this draft with the terrible pick of Jake Locker. I don't almost any situation see where he will succeed. For the rest of the offense, I hope that the Titans bring in a veteran or it will be another long year. Locker with a shaky young defense makes for a very mediocre season for the home-run hitting Chris Johnson. The Titans will also need to keep Britt out of trouble so whomever is throwing the ball has a game breaking wide receiver to begin with. I was never a Vince Young fan but Tennessee would be better off keeping him around.
