Another week has come and gone and the All-Star game is right around the corner. Zack Wheeler had a nice debut, but was sent back down until his next start on Tuesday complicating his pickup in some leagues. Brandon Beachy had a setback and needs to remain on your radar. Boston and Detroit are having closer problems, while things appear to be settling down at the back end of the Miami bullpen. Those in need of speed may be able to find what they need in the Philadelphia and New York Mets outfield.

Roy Oswalt Colorado SP- Oswalt was hitting 94 mph consistently on Thursday night with movement. He struck out eleven, but was hit around pretty good as well.
Jose Alvarez Detroit SP- Brought back up to fill in for the injured Anibal Sanchez, Alvarez was again effective in his second start.
Junichi Tazawa Boston RP- Andrew Bailey continues to meltdown and Boston has seen enough.
Steve Cishek Miami RP- Cishek is quietly becoming the closer than many hoped for at drafts and auctions in March.
Joaquin Benoit Detroit RP- Jose Valverde isn't getting it done and Benoit has been given the role with a short leash.
Alex Torres Tampa Bay RP- If you need an effective middle guy, Torres has been pretty much untouchable.
Randall Delgado Arizona SP- A promising start has earned him another. Delgado was a key to the Upton deal and will be counted upon in the long term.
Ricky Romero Toronto SP- Still young and very effective in recent seasons, Romero finally appears to be finding himself (in the minors).
Brandon Moss Oakland 1B/OF- Moss is this week's version of Mike Carp, an outfielder/first baseman with definite pop.
Ben Revere Philadelphia OF- Frustrated many owners in the season's opening months, Revere is finally providing a solid leadoff hitter for the Phils with (tons) of speed.
Tyler Colvin Colorado OF- Still having trouble with the strikeouts, figures to get lots of playing time if Dexter Fowler spends time on the disabled list.
Anthony Rendon Washington 2B- Hitting .333 on the season, if he keeps it up Danny Espinosa may spend much more time in the minors than he had planned.
Elliott Johnson Kansas City 2B/SS- Part of the Wil Myers deal, Johnson is providing numbers for your middle infield... for now.
Eric Young Jr NY Mets OF- Lost in Colorado, Young has second life on the Mets who have a serious lack of outfield talent.
Jody Mercer Pittsburgh 2B/SS- Mercer is making a case to stay in the bigs, appears to be the long term answer for the Bucs at shortstop.
Pedro Ciriaco San Diego SS- With Everth Cabrera on the disabled list, the Padres needed a spark and Ciriaco is providing just that.
